Give your pet something to smile about!

Bad breath could be a sign on Dental illness. Imagine how your teeth would look and how your breath would smell if you didn’t brush your teeth regularly – it’s the same for your pet. Problems usually start with a build up of sticky plaque that hardens to form tartar. This can lead to gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and eventually dental disease will develop. Cats and dogs will then loose teeth and become prone to oral infections.

Signs of Dental Disease –

  • Bad breath
  • Difficulty eating
  • loose tooth or tooth loss
  • Yellow or brown coloured spots on teeth
  • Pawing or rubbing at the mouth
  • Dribbling
  • Bleeding Gums

Ways to manage Dental Problems –

Your vet or nurse may recommend a professional Scale & Polish to clean your pets teeth. Combining a change in nutrition with daily brushing is the most effective way to improve your pets dental health. Regular check ups with the practice nurse can help to maintain a healthy smile. If your pet isn’t a fan of having their teeth brushed we have other options available too.

We’re offering a Dental Scale & Polish for just £99 for March.
